Chapter 3
Taylor mumbled before awakening, slowly getting up and rubbing his hands against his face. The remembrance of what happened the day before hit him then, and he swallowed, looking around for a few moments before realizing he was alone in the cavern.
After being with Katya, they talked, and soon decided to join forces. Taylor still didnât know the whole story of why he was called, but it was obvious there was something wrong in Eden. Katya thanked him for freeing her from the spell clouding her mind, and he was too embarrassed to do anything but blush, unable to forget how he did it when she looked at him with those golden eyes.
If how she smirked when he shied away was any indication, she remembered it as well, and didnât mind one bit.
She wasnât the only one that smirked or sent him smoldering gazes. Plenty of the catgirls that came with the princess looked at him as if he was a tasty piece of meat, and though part of him was flattered, he was also pretty intimidated.
He shook his head. He shouldnât fear them, after all they were allies.
He stepped out of the cavern they had found the day before, one very similar to the cavern where he spent his first night on this new world, and stopped when he found a couple of catgirls just outside, keeping watch, almost like guards. They smiled at him, letting their eyes rove over his figure, and he blushed.
It didnât take him long to catch sight of Katya, talking to Neva, and he moved in their direction. The princess turned to him when he got closer and smiled. âLady Taylor.â She greeted, and he winced.
Sure, he was in a body that was like ninety-nine percent female, but he was still a man deep down. Not that he said anything about it to the princess, explaining the whole thing might not be easy. âJust Taylor, please.â They had more important things to focus on after all.
The chuckle that escaped from Nevaâs mouth made him glare at the little fairy, but she only thrust her tongue out at him and turned to the catgirl once again. âWe need to find some way into your motherâs city.â
âIt will be almost impossible to sneak in.â Katya shook her head, sending her golden mane flying all over. âOur sense of smell is too accurate, someone will catch one of our scents.â
âWhat are you guys talking about?â Taylor asked. He was pretty sure he would be forced to be involved in whatever they were planning, and he wasnât willing to let them make all the decisions without him. Sure, he didnât know squat about this world, but at least he could offer some input, and hopefully learn.
Katya turned to him, smirking, and he blushed. âWeâre trying to find a way to get you to my mother, let you undo the spell obfuscating her mind, as you did to me.â
He blushed even deeper at that, and gaped at them.
